Wednesday, October 9th: First night in the RV update from Mom of Kat
Kat was fine until lights out...
Couldn’t settle down, so he slept in house...Pup and I slept well.
Kat has been all over Pup this morning, trying to find out what we did without him, ha!
Breaking news Aunty:
Mom says we're going to try again Thursday, October 10th.

We all slept well in RV last night. Kat decided to share Pup’s bed.

Sounds very encouraging....we cats aren't all that crazy to try new stuff sometimes but I think Pup helped Kat "adjust" and if he doesn't mind the occasional bed-sharing then ALL WILL BE WELL ON THE BIG WHEELIE ADVENTURE!

I'm trying not to laugh. When my younger brother and I were young, I'd beg him to come sleep in my room. I finally admitted to him a few years ago how much I needed him there vs the other way around. Good thing Kat has Pup!

Yes, I think it is looking good. The friendship between Pup and Kat will give Kat the confidence he needs to be a camping Kat!

ReplyDeleteI love that everyone was patient with Kat, to let him get used to the changes in his own time. Sometimes we humans try to force our intentions onto our pets, without giving them enough consideration to look at things from their point of view. Excellent!
