We arrived at 8:30 am on Friday 10/25
Rides opened at 10 am. The only thing we wanted to ride was the State
Fair Flyer. It is a permanent fixture there. It is like a ski lift from one side to the fair the the other.
The view was spectacular. Only about 25' off the ground.
These folks were directly in front of us you'll see a lot of them. LOL

What great shots from up above the fair! Normally, mom doesn't like her feets dangling because it's more scary but this ride seems okay to her.
ReplyDeleteyou are very brave. the view to see it all was perfect from up there. I will have to be satisfied with photos, just looking at the contraption you sat in makes me feel a little sick and my legs hurt. fantastic fotos of all that is there.

ReplyDeleteWow! That looked like a lot of fun! My ghostwriter is afraid of heights, but she thinks she could get on that ski lift since it's not terribly high up.

ReplyDeleteYou are so brave! We quit riding the state fair rides in Louisiana back in the early 90's. I didn't trust anyone that I saw to be coherent enough to assemble a ride. Hahaha! We will go the Houston Rodeo next year and it is like a fair too. I can't wait and we might even ride something...after I take a look at the help.

ReplyDeleteOh, what a FABulous time!!!! Our fairs are usually in the high heat of summer ~ this is a much better time of year! It looks so funs! And Ma said she loves the monster trucks!
