Beautiful stone stairs near the Lake at Angus Barn
Front view of Hayes Barton Baptist Church in the
Five Points area of Raleigh
Five points refers to five streets that come together at this intersection
This method of intersection might have been fine in the 1950's
but it is plain crazy nowadays.

Very tall pine grove outside at a home.
I sure am glad they aren't in front of my house.
Pines do not do well in ice storms
SHE saw the photos of Angel Madi aka Bag lady
I say thank you to HER

We had those tall pines all around us when we lived in Chapel Hill, and even in slight winds crossing anywhere beneath them was taking your life into your own hands!
ReplyDeleteThe stone work is so pretty! Mom says the same things about the long needled pines - that they're very unstable trees but so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice photos. I can't see the last two though, just little squares where they should be.
ReplyDeleteThose stairs are really nice looking. Someone did a good job building the stairs. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThe stairs are beautiful. We're MOL @ the bag and the "read instructions"
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Awwwwww, sweet cartoon with the bag. The stone work is beautiful. Good Morning!

ReplyDeleteMOL... that last one cackled me up!!! Loving your natural symmetry shots and the cat and the bag - precious!!! YAM xx
It's scary to see those pines right next to those power lines. Those comics are great too.
ReplyDeleteThose stairs really do look so nice. We enjoyed those funnies too!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree about those roads being ok in the 50's. we have the same thing here, when our streets were dirt, they started paving them and left them like it was in the 50's now here we are instead of 10,000 in our area there are 250,000 and that doubles in the winter. the roads are archaic. I am falling out of my chair at the empty bag. I am going to send that to pam on FB, she loves cats. this is about the funniest one I have seen in a long time.. Hugs, I know you still miss your angel Madi.
ReplyDeleteYep, things definitely do change over time. Raleigh has gotten much bigger.
ReplyDeleteWe have a five pints in our town. People voted to keep it. I think voters are crazy,
ReplyDeletefive points, why do I always proofread after?
ReplyDeleteWe have an intersection called Twelve Corners. Fortunately the traffic lights keep things organized.
ReplyDelete(My kitty cat cousins love boxes and bags too.)
Five road intersection....scary unless you're used to it! Wonder what happens during a power outage...
ReplyDeleteI swear, that assembly instruction made my mommy and me both really meow! LOVED that. And you are sure right about pine trees...scary.
ReplyDeleteThese are all funny :) XO
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! We saw that twisted up kitty on Facebook - hard to imagine it's comfy but who are we to judge???!!! HAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
We love those stone stairs. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteThat kitty must have thought he was a pretzel:)
