Today we join Two SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is today's inspiration
I Remember...
By Rusty
Way back in my youth, I was ahead of my time.
I recall I was shiny, my leather seats were
soft and my tires were made of quality rubber.
My owner polished and buffed me 'til I glistened
I stood out in a crowd
NOW
I'm a bucket of rust cover in green moss
I'm no longer mean like I was in my prime
My mind's eye recalling cherished moments of
FUN and times gone by...
I'm outstanding all alone
Great poem. Poor Rusty, though he fits in with the natural scenery.
ReplyDeletepoor Rusty.... amazing that we had the same thoughts today about old cars LOL

ReplyDeleteA lovely tribute to 'Rusty'! YAM xx
Fabulous poem....I have to say once in a while I feel a LOT like "Rusty"....not as shiny as I used to be - maybe a bit of moss here and there (!) - but I am not quite ready to put out to pasture! Good job.....love this.
