Thankful from Rocky and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #35

My Ginger Nephew Rocky and his Mom have a great big
THANKFUL THURSDAY Message.

Last week during Rocky's snip, chip and clip event his favorite Vet Tech,Miss Tara, took
extra blood to send to a special lab for Feline Leukemia re-testing.
On Tuesday August 25, 2020 .....at 3pm I received this email from Rocky's Mom Kit

Vet tech just called: Rocky’s results are NEGATIVE!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been crying tears of joy!!!

Side note from Mom Kit regarding the first weak positive
many months ago.
It concerns me greatly that vet suggested euthanasia for weak positive...I was so shocked that day, so I agreed, but  Dad of Rocky objected profusely, saving Rocky’s life.

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

Here is today's inspiration

What a beautiful arrangement of succulents...the white Gnome spoke to me.

Oh if I were a Gnome
I'd be forever happy
to call this HOME.
It might sound sappy
Multilevels to roam
So much to see I'd never be alone.

first - love that image and your verse to match it; what a proper wee garden work of art that is!

Second - HOORRRAAAHHHHH FOR ROCKY!!! And it is so true and I have often wondered about tests for such things in humans too; then all sorts of unnecessary treatments are endured... which can sometimes amount to an equivalent of euthanasia. Rocky is so totally pawsome and a real hunk and I know he and Kat and Pup are going to have lots of fun times together. Hugs and whiskereies, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. Oh what good news about Rocky....! I think you could TOTALLY make a little fairy garden - you are clever - you could plant little tiny succulents in a "quilt" pattern which would make it even more PERSONAL for you as a quilter!! Go for it!

    Hugs, Pam

  11. It's good to hear this news about Rocky. I feel that veterinarian's are too quick to suggest euthanasia these days.
I agree with Brian's comment today: find another vet!

  13. Hooray! I am so glad Rocky is OK, your Dad is awesome! It is so hard to find a good Vet, even when we do, the assistants take over after a while, and it's back to looking for a good Vet again!
