Madi and Mom say Thank you!!!

Madi:

1. I'm spoiled (I know that is a surprise)
2. I do not sit in anyone's lap!! Much to the dismay of Mom
(the first family kitty was 100% lap kitty)
3.I talk non stop
4.I was a devil child when the peeps first brought me home.
5. I was lost for 2 hours...not to worry though I knew exactly where I was...
sleeping peacefully in Mom and Dad's closet.
Mom:
1. I'm proud to say I can drive a stick shift
2. I was Senior Class Marshall in High School
(this means I kept order in the midst of chaos...good training for being Mom
 to a Diva Cat)
3. When I was about 3 years old I cut my own hair and I cut the hair of
the family Collie, Lady, and Lady's puppies. Luckily no humans or puppies were
 harmed!!
4.When I was 5, I was caught in the act of eating a stick of butter.
5.I had a very short career as a Cover Girl
At 2 years old I was a cover girl on the Co-operative Exchange magazine.

(I know you've never heard of it. LOL My mom worked for the company.
I was on the Easter edition holding baby chicks.

Nature Friday...now that the hots have left, I often
take walks around the neighborhood.
Thankfully I had my camera with me when I spotted this
beautiful patio on the front lawn of a home about
two blocks from us.
How nice would it be to sit in any of these places while
enjoying all the Nature around you.

  1. love it!!! yes a diva has to be spoilt, that's for sure!!!! and to maneuver a stick is a good thing, our mama said she will die with the stick in her hand, she sticks with the stick LOL

  3. I drive a stick shift too. I googled it and 60% of cars in the UK are still manual. Automatic gear change has gone up a lot in the last 10 years. Only 2% are manual in the US.

  7. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. You sure were a cutie as a little one. It seems like a bit of a strange place for a patio to be in the front of the house but it does look like an inviting place to hang out.

  9. Lots of good memories! My ghostwriter got her picture in the local newspaper when she was a kid, and was raising a baby blue jay. She knows how to drive a stick shift too. (Do they still make those?)

  17. Loved reading the facts from you and Madi (now Angel Madi). Didn't know she was so verbose! And that seating arrangement near the sidewalk of your neighbors simply invites folks to join them!

  18. We didn't know you and Madi in 2010 so it was nice to read all about both of you. That patio is very nice - it would be great for a family social distancing visit:) That white colonial in the background looks a lot like our home in Connecticut:) We should say Mom and Dad's home because we weren't even born then.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
