Happy Tuesday with Rocky

Dearest Auntie HiC
I saw the strangest looking creature crawling on the gazebo.

Naturally, I  was  very curious and tried to get a closer look.

Apparently, I wasn’t the only curious one. Next thing I knew, we were face to face!🙀

Mom said it’s a Phasmida, stick-bug, and there are more than 3,000 species of walking sticks all over the world.
Do you see it!?!🙀

It was certainly a close encounter of the sticky kind. Ha!

No stick-bug or kitten was harmed in the process of making this video!😻

Sound on, please:

❤️ Rocky, Your Ginger Nephew

Ohhhhhhhhh dear nephew...I can see it and OMCs what a visitor to have.  He has excellent taste to want to be up close to you and be your friend!  Now honestly I hope and purrr he does not bring all his relatives to meet you...that could be a really ‘sticky’ situation. Mol mol that was a little auntie humor.
Uncle and I watched your action video at breakfast. We love the music
and your moves!!
With love and many thanks for these wonder photos.
Your devoted Auntie HiC

  13. Wow, that dude's really skinny! I think I might've tried to play fetch with him, since that's what sticks are for, so it's probably better you met him instead of me.

  14. Golly! I'm not sure if there are any stick bugs in our neck of the woods, but now I'm going to research that.

  23. Hi Rocky. Mom says she remembers sitting in a sand box as a child, up in Pencil Vania, and grabbing a stick bug, thinking it was a stick. Kinda freaked her out, as you can tell since she remembers it from about 87 years ago, BOL. I would probably check out what it tastes like. XOX Xena

  25. We haven't seen one of those stick guys in ages but I find them totally fascinating when I DO see one. They kind of jerk along when they walk sometimes and have one of the best "DISGUISES" of any critter I know!

    Hugs, Teddy
