Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #48

Today we join Two  SPOLED CATS

Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

Here is our inspiration

Fun house
not for me
It probably has a mouse
I've been in a few the
distorted mirror made me scream.
I wished I had not eaten that bowl of
 Ice Cream.

  4. This reminded dad of Mountain Park, a long-defunct amusement park he used to go to as a kid up in Holyoke, MA. He has some ideas for stories centered around clowns, this park and more clowns. He looks at things a little differently than normal people, I guess. Oh, and he says thanks for the info about the Blue Boar Inn. Their pictures are wonderful, but it is odd that in this day and age they don't have a website. Stay warm!

  6. You wouldn't catch me walking through the mouth of that clown. I did go to a few fun houses and the scary ones that you walked around in the dark and things and people jumped out at you. I didn't like to go to them. Your poem certainly works for me!

  7. Yeah, why are they called "fun" houses anyway? Mom says they should be called puke and have a heart attack houses.

  8. I never liked those things. There isn't anything fun about them. Well done.

Have a fabulous day, my friend. Big hug. ♥

  10. I am with you and the others that all said not for me. I don't like clowns I don't think they're scary I just don't like clowns and I don't think they're funny either and I certainly don't like one that comes out of a scary book and that would be scary if I went inside I'm scared enough without paying to get scared

  12. My mom worked the House of Mirrors one year at the state fair for our PTA and we went through that thing a million times. I don't like fun houses where something might jump out at me.

  13. And why do they call it a "fun" house with that scary mouth at the entrance? Mom never liked the fun house at her local amusement park when she was a child.

  19. Love the poem.....this has been a most interesting photo to use for poetry this time around as everyone has at least one memory of a Fun House OR they say they wouldn't go in one if you paid them! HAHAHAHA
