Saturday Snowy Symmetry

Symmetry in the deck flooring and the shed at the back of the deck

As I mentioned yesterday we had snow early Thursday Morning. We didn't actually see it snowing

The photo below was taken at 6:15 am Thursday morning.  Our deck was covered with an inch of snow. LunaPic has recreated the snow for us.

  1. Beautiful! Our snow arrives later this afternoon/evening for the next couple of days - we'll have about six inches before it stops. Glad we don't have to go out in it!!!!

  3. Hey Cecilia, we lucked out over here the other day when you got that stuff. We're fine keeping it away, although I hear we may get a brief mix sometine tomorrow. I also hear dad saying he can't wait for these frigid temps to subside because he's ready for the shorts and barefoot part of the year to arrive. I let him know it won't quite be like Wilmington and the beach scene out here, but he's good with that. Happy Saturday, my NC friend!

  4. I'm glad you didn't get a lot of snow. That was a pretty dusting and easy for it to melt away.

  7. We have inches of snow on the way, but it's normal for Michigan in Winter.
At least I don't have to commute to the office on Monday!

  9. We're finally getting the snow we expect to get this time of year but it's also bitter cold.

  10. This morning we saw diamond dust in the air. This is when it's so cold, water vapor in the air freezes into tiny crystals. When the sun shines through it, it looks like sparkly glitter! Very pretty!

  12. Your recreation is way more exiting than the real thing. (As we have had happen everyday this week!) Us cats are not going out, we are sleeping and eating too much and arguing...And hissing at Mom. We can;t wait for the snow to stop! Have a marvellously Happy Day!

  13. We've seen hardly any snow in the last few weeks. You're getting more snow with your special effects than we are, teehee - Tom

  18. There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article, thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well

  20. Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
