Dui and Roxy and HER from Australia sent me this amazing photo of a
Spider web. OMDs I don't want to see the spider that spun that.
Look what I found across my drive way this morning. (February 6, 2021)
It is a close up, but it was about a foot and a half wide. The anchoring Threads spanned about 6 or 7 feet!
Dear Dui and Roxy please tell HER
I don't want to come face to face with the 8 legger who spun that web...
I thank our hostess Comedy Plus
My Feline Nephews are now da best of buddies
Below is a video of Rocky bathing Kat..so very sweet.
Rocky is devoted to the task; however, eventually Kat says E N O U G H!!
I hope you can see it.

ReplyDeleteThat spider web. Eeeeek!
ReplyDeleteBut the video of Rocky and Kat, and the song, is so sweet.
Wow - that is one HUGE web! We're so happy that Kat and Rocky are finally bestest buds. Right there with you, Miss Cecilia, on the Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream!
ReplyDeleteGreat spider web shot, but it must be a giant spider! We've never seen one that big. Enjoy that ice cream!
ReplyDeleteI...love...that....Video of Rocky bathing Kat... my heart strings are singing... so happy they love each other. Now I know TWO cats that walk on leash... there pawrentz are dog/cat whispererers

ReplyDeleteI do so admire the spider weaver
always at work yet rarely we see her
casting her lines so far and wide
netting the world from side to side...
Awwww, R and K together at last. YAM xx
That spidey web is gorgeous! Sweet videeoh! I love chocolate chip mint ice cream but my teeth don't like ice cream much anymore. Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the boys are now buds! Enjoy your ice cream!!!
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a big spider web. At least Tobi saw it before she just plowed into it with her face. BOL! It's so sweet to see Rocky and Kat getting along although Rocky does seem a bit rough in his cleaning technique. We love all things ice cream in this house and those flavors sound great too.
ReplyDeleteThat's one huge spider I'm betting, although the little ones are impressive spinners too. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteLove the video and I did see that I'm done with you grooming me. Cute.
Ice cream. I love ice cream. Chocolate is always good.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug, honey. ♥
We are Breyers Int chocolate chip fans too. Harros Teeter also makes (and Bruce will buy it there on Charlotte) a purely natural vanilla ice cream...premium price and worth every cent. No artificial anything, no gums, as are in all the others to make it thick..no NOTHING. Remember how back in the day when we were young, Breyers made ice cream with only milk, cream and sugar...chocolate, vanilla beans, or whatever- but NO additives of any sort...ever. Then, they and the rest started with the gums and other artificial things. Ruined it. Raised the prices. Some would hardly melt.

Darling video of bathtime! and that spiders web is amazing! Have a great day!

Great web and movie. We just got one of Einstein and Rumpy's dueling tongues. Coming soon. Love I Scream so dont buy it because I get 2 for 1 and they are gone in 3 days
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing spider web! We used to see this kind of spider web frequently here in our yard, although much, much smaller. But in the last couple summers, we didn't see any! We wonder if the birdies are eating the spiders, or the neighbors are using too much pesticides.
ReplyDeleteYour kitty cat cousins are so funny!
Oh, and we love mint chocolate chip ice cream!
I always pick mint when we both get a box or tub of ice cream. That way I know mine will be there when I want one
ReplyDeleteThe redneck won’t touch mint
Oh my...chocolate mint day, now I need to get out and find some Choc Chip Mint Ice Cream too!!
ReplyDeleteI bet the builder of that web is one scary looking spider!!
Yuk, that is a big web! Our Leyland hedge must be full of spiders because on a misty morning it is completely covered in webs. I never go too close to it! That was so sweet to see Kat and Rocky getting on together.
ReplyDeleteOne of my faves - chocolate mint! That spider web is scary - hugely scary.....yikes!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Oh! My COD! I wonder if they eat cats! Scary! The video of Rocky and Kat reminded Mom of Hissy Old Licorice bathing Nellie! Thanks for the memories! Mom does not have a favorite flavor of ice cream...she always likes to try something new, but she buys vanilla for home as us cats and Cinnamon eat way more than she does. Have a marvellously Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteNow that is some web! Is she sure it's a spider and not some genetically modified kangaroo?
ReplyDeleteKlem
Affection between kitties is always a joy to see. :) That spider web is amazing. We rather miss garden spiders (argiopes) with their pretty yellow/black bodies and cool orb webs. It seems my changed landscape is less appealing to them. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteWe bet Mom would not like to meet the crafty spider who created that beautiful web!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
What a sweet video !
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful web, they are truly works of art. XO
ReplyDeleteI would hate to see the spider.
ReplyDeleteOKAYS, Ma is twitching in her chair!!! Cool pic, Ma would be flailing her arms around anytime she went outside, cause she seems to walk through all those webs when she takes me out a zero-dark-thirty! BOL!!! Oh, Kat! Lookie at you and Rocky!! So sweet!!! and what's a little nip between bros?! BOL!
ReplyDeleteOh, Ma does like the Breyers! YUMMERS!
Stay safe and warm!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
We humans go coo coo for kitties that snuggle and get along!
ReplyDeleteNope, me don't like spiders, although I appreciate their role in the world...just not where I can see them, m'k?
Eeiiiii! Spider. That web looks like something out of Lord of the Rings.
ReplyDeleteBryers brand Rocky Road is my favorite ice cream. It's why I actually put ON weight when I am sick with a bad cold -- it's all I want to eat, and who can refuse a sick person, right?
Speaking of Rocky, great news about your 2 cat nephews!
And finally, yes, we'll be seeing you on Dr Seuss Day. It's one of our favorites, too.
