I'm happy to report our neighborhood white jack rabbit is thriving. One of my neighbors walks her pups early. I hear she has seen 2 white jack rabbits. They both love to dine under the pear tree in the yard across the street from us. He/she let me get pretty close recently. I'm 99% sure he is albino jack rabbit...check out his eyes.
Close up
we think you are right and we hope the little bunny has a good time in your hood ;O)

ReplyDeleteYou sure can't miss that rabbit if you see it on your walk. He looks like he's enjoying eating that tall grass.

Pretty bunny It sure looks domestic to me though. XO
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that you see the rabbit regularly. I had three rabbits when I was growing up. They were all albinos which is quite common in domesticated rabbits, but rarer in the wild.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty rabbit!
ReplyDeleteCute, but don't follow it down the rabbit's hole.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of rabbits around here, but we don't think we have seen any white ones. They are both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I have never seen a white rabbit just living out in the wild of a neighborhood. Hope they stay safe. Maybe they are special luck when you see them. Finally have the new laptop up and running. Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a jack rabbit. I don't think we have any around here. That one sure is pretty, and I'm sure you're right about him being an albino.
