Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

 Today we join

Ding dong the appendix is gone.

Thankful to report my appendectomy went well, not problems.  We got home about 2:15 yesterday.    Thus far there is not pain.  I was kinda dizzy for about 2 hours but that passed.  Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and purrs.  I prepared today's post and Friday's earlier this week.  I hope to be back full speed ahead by Monday.

Last week when I saw this week's photo challenge, I was tickled it was something I could quickly write.  After all Ice Cream is my unofficial middle name.

 Two SPOILED CATS

Angel Sammy and Teddy for the inspiring photos they find for us

Last week when I saw this photo, I knew the Ice Cream lover in me
just had to pawticipate.

Side note:
*When learning to spell 100 years ago, I remember my teacher giving us hints to help us remember how to spell these two words
Dessert has 2 s's which stand for 'So Sweet'.

  2. Hooray for being home again! Good to know you are doing well, and now we can pray for a speedy uneventful recovery.

Ice cream tantalizes my tastebuds, too...it is my undoing I think, LOL! I have learned to make a few low carb ones, but well, they are good but they are NOT ice cream!

  23. So glad to hear the good report. We hope you are taking it easy and recovering well.

As for ice cream, we ALL love ice cream. We usually get vanilla or strawberry, but no chocolate. Mom says she would like a waffle bowl filled with a scoop of each flavor.

  29. I'm so happy you are not in pain! And that's a super way to remember how to spell a word that breaks the spelling rules. It and desert always tripped me up, but not any more!
