from a recent walkabout
This taken from our driveway looking down to the end of the Cul-da-sac
The red caught my eye (of course) it was some kind of wind sock.
Thankfully it was early so these were Serene. I admired their shiny well cared for look sitting quietly. Even in a quiet neighborhood street I don't think I'd leave them parked there overnight.
That doesn't look like a safe way to park the motorbikes. But as you say, at least they were silent!

DeleteActually, that is exactly how motorbikes ought to be parked... though the advice is always 'not over night if possible.'
Some wonderful quiet street scenes today, Miss C... YAM xx
It looks very peaceful, and the blue sky is lovely.
ReplyDeletebeau and I would love to take our walks down that view of your street. it would be easy to steal those bikes. must be visitors that don't live there. they seem out of place on that quiet street
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. I would not leave them where temptation is available.
ReplyDeleteYou really do have a pretty neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and peaceful neighborhood you live in!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty neighborhood! Looks a bit like ours!
ReplyDeleteThose bikes are definitely piped up to make some noise. All the trees... you do have a lovely neighborhood to take a stroll. Lovely photos and it is nice to appreciate the bikes when they are quiet!
ReplyDeleteNot surprised you found the pop of red😜
ReplyDeleteI would definitely park the motorcycles off the road and in the driveway.
ReplyDeleteNice photos.I am surprised the motorcycles were parked there.:) XO
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice area you live! Looks so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI like the quote, and it's usually a dog, not a person, that rekindles the fire in my spirit.
ReplyDeleteThose are a couple of serious touring bikes.
I agree...your neighborhood is so pleasant and lovely. I am so glad that the developer left the trees...
ReplyDeleteA nice walkabout. I never left my bike out without at least an anchor
