Feline, Nature and Fishy Friday

Nature Friday host LLB Gang  and Feline Friday  host Comedy Plus

Kitty pottery at Cedar Creek Gallery

Pumpkins R US part 1

We love pumpkins

Recently we took a short trip to the NC Farmer's Market to
buy some pumpkins.

Pumpkins pumpkins everywhere and not a pie in sight but evidently Jarrahdales are great for pies.  Never heard of them but I asked GiGi Google if they made green pies... this is what I found

Breaking news just in from
my photo journalist Janice
She and her family are vacationing at Oak Island, NC.
Her hubby and grandson caught a flying fish

Here is a short video of it swimming

and one of Granddad holding it

AUSSIE PUMPKINS!!! The Jarrah is from QLD originally and is the best of pumpkins. Here in the UK our choice of such fruits is very limited. No displays like you saw.

And did you get out that gallery without buying at least one of those gorgeous kitties??? YAM xx

  10. Something to absolutely miss about small apartment living vs big home life: being able to decorate porches and windows and
all over inside for holidays! Especially the autumn season with its wonderful colors and shapes ... the harvest abundance!

  14. We got a nice little pumpkin and set it outside by the front steps for decoration. The Evil Squirrel Cartel didn't waste any time taking bites out of it. Crummy tree rats!

That fish was really cool and amazing!

  18. That pumpkin looks so dull, grey and mouldy on the outside, yet so bright and yum on the inside! Isn’t nature great.

  19. WOW! A flying fishie.....and pumpkins as far as the eye can see! I wonder if those Jarrahdales are the ones people call "ghost pumpkins" because of their color?

  22. We have seen some lovely pumpkins around here. And our human sister's nonprofit had a Paint a Pumpkin event and donated them to a local fundraiser for charity. They were just so amazing.

    Congrats to the fisherboy!!!
