Last Thursday was a chilly, rainy day here on The Hill.
We’re all enjoying the first fire of the season.
I reminded Rascal, I mean Rocky 😂, not to get too close to fire.
Kat was passed out on Mom's chair.
It was beautiful here yesterday, and we took a ride through one of the nearby vineyards.

the first fireplace day is something special we totally agree... and in our house it is the day where we have the firefighters on speed dial LOL

Pup, Kat and Rocky should know that once upon a time I was very puzzled as to why some yellow tinged furs had appeared on Hamish the Westie's shoulder, and I only later realised he'd fallen asleep rather too close to an old fashioned electric heater (the bar element type).

Eric used to sleep too close to the log burner, and always had curly whiskers in winter.

that is how Beau rides, just like you Pup.. and I can see your sniffer sniffing, just like Beau.. the three of you have a great fire to sleep by with those cold temps. we are cold at 64.
