Thankful Thursday from my Nephews and Poetry #46

   Today we join

My very furry nephews, Kat, Pup, Rocky and Mom Kit asked me if they could share a Thankful Today.  Rocky sent me this email and photo.

I just want to let all of our wonderful Furiends know that our Dad had a mild stroke several days ago. He spent a couple days in the hospital, and is now resting comfortably at home. He has made amazing progress, and will hopefully make a full recovery. We are all taking good care of him.
Needless to say, we are  busy keeping an eye on Dad 'D' and napping with him.  Mom Kit is busy looking after everyone.  We might not be sending many emails for a while.  Auntie HiC will be in touch with Mom
daily.  She will keep you posted.
Pup, Kat, and I take turns keeping our eyes on him.
😻Dad is going to be just fine❣️
Thankfully and lovingly your Nephews
Rocky, Kat and Pup

😍

Monday, November 29, Dad had an appointment with his primary care physician.
Mom Kit sent me this:
Good report from PCP. 👍  He has made great progress, and we are thankful. ❤️

 Two SPOILED CATS,

  1. your poem fits so perfectly... that is what it is... the things we argued for or things we tought they are big, become small in a moment, because everything changed. all our best wishes to the dad of rocky cat and pup... we hope the good news continue ...

  2. That is a very appropriate poem. I hope dad D continues to recover well. I had 2 mild strokes back in June and apart from my right hand not always cooperating as it should, and some days when my memory is a bit slow, I have no other side effects at all. Hopefully dad D will have as good a recovery or better.

  20. Prayers for Dad D.
Your poem is so true. It’s important to enjoy the little things in life: birds singing, my dog snuggling with me, laughing with friends and family.

  22. What a wonderful poem! Strokes can surely be a scary thing, and we're sending purrayers that the dad's progress continues upward. My dad's mom suffered from many small ones while living alone some years ago, God rest her soul. Oh, and thanks a bunch for checking in on us- the fires are nowhere near us and are mostly contained from what we read.
