One of my favorite NCSU Physics PhD students in the late 1990's is now a Professor at University of Arkansas, where he lives with wife and three daughters.
His wife, Sandra, is an elementary school Teacher and amateur Photographer
On January 2, 2022,she posted the most amazing snowflake photos, I have ever seen, on her personal blog. She wrote:
The snow was so light and you could see so many individual snowflakes...
My comment on her blog was: these are award winning photos and 100% National Geographic quality.
Today is my Birthday
Yesterday my husband went on a secret mission.
When he got home he said, "DON'T come downstairs 'till I call you"!
He was setting up this most beautiful birthday surprise

The cake is Hot Cocoa Cheese Cake IT IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

Happy Birthday! What a nice surprise! Snowflakes are really beautiful. We see them sometimes and they don't look real but we've never tried to photograph them.
