Awww warm days make for cozy Cody naps
Recently on a trek thru the 'hood, I approached Cody's home from the top of the hill....this is what I saw. Cody was in his deep sleep mode he didn't hear me. When I approach from the bottom of his sidewalk, he always sees me and will get up slowly awaiting some loving.
I was very quiet as I got closer.
As I went to the front, I think he knew I was there. His tail started to happily greet me. I told him not to get up...
I bent down to look into his beautiful chocolate eyes while rubbing his velvety head. I gives me such great pleasure to know this gentle dog. He was adopted from a shelter when he was about a year old. That was certainly the best day of the rest of his 13+ years.

cody is a super fabulous dog.... what a trust he has in people... that's how the world should be :O)
ReplyDeleteWhen a chap reaches his senior years, it is not I think required for him to get up in order to receive some loving from his human friends.
