Dear Auntie HiC
It’s a beautiful day on The Hill, and we have Spring Fever. We have blooming daffodils!
In other news, Mom is NOT happy with the deer! But that’s a story for another day! 😹 No worries though Pup is on high alert and he will give you a report soon.

When Mom saw this beautiful picture, it took her breath away! 🙀

Dearest Rocky
Auntie is so sorry to hear about the deer making a buffet out of Mom's Daffies.
But with Pup on guard I have all confidence the deer will learned boundaries.
I would 100% rather have you predict the weather better than our
meteorologist. I do see your precious ginger face about to dive into the wally melon. That is a gorgeous painting by Sueellen Ross. I must say Kat's eyes are 1 million times more gorgeous. Of course Auntie is prejudice.
Lovingly your Auntie HiC
we have spring fever too... and we hope winter will move soon. if there is help needed with da deer, call us ;O)))
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely painting, and it does look like Kat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame about your daffies. The painting does look very much like Kat!

ReplyDeleteI noticed that the daffies around the base of the big beech tree in our yard are showing their leaves - no buds quite yet, but another week and who knows?! That painting is gorgeous, but it can't be stroked - it can't purr... YAM xx
Those deer have no manners!
ReplyDeleteI might actually watch our local news if the meteormeowlogist was a cat! 54 is a little cool for poolside time for me though.
Our daffies are shooting up too. And, the fruit trees are blooming. I hope they are not idiots (hehehee as in blooming idiots) and all their fruit get knocked off by a late cold snap.
ReplyDeletetell your Mom to import those Weims from France, they will get rid of the deer for you. Butt I am thinking they might dig up the daffy dils. LOL... you are both so beautiful and it does look like Rocky. your eyes are magnificent
ReplyDeleteI have taffies here too and the deer don't know yet! Without the usual bird seed in the front yard, they are not attracted to the yard . They do pass through frequently on their way to cross the street though. The squirrels are the total pests, as always. Rocky, come on over in the tumble, will you? I need squirrel help.
ReplyDeleteDAFFIES for pity sake. Mom and her typos.
DeleteTwins! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful picture. Kat is beautifully handsome! Good thing Pup is on high alert for the protection of the daffies. Rocky, a very nice email to your Auntie HiC!
ReplyDeleteThose critters sure love munching on our flowers. Luckily for us all our pretty flowers are inside our fence that the deer don't jump (although they could). That sure is a beautiful painting but we think Kat is more beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell that painting of a cat is beautifully done BUT we think Kat has a much prettier set of gorgeous GREEN eyes and prettier tabby markings! So there!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
The deer can reek havoc on your flowers and gardens. They have to eat too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a likeness indeed. Beautiful.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

They say everyone has an identical twin somewhere. Sorry to hear about the deer eating the daffodils. We're sure good ol' Pup will do a great job barking them away.
ReplyDeleteThat does look like Kat. XO
ReplyDeleteThat does look like Kat but Kat is prettier!
ReplyDeleteWe are all ready for Spring too! Pup will be on guard duty, no doubt about it!
ReplyDeleteI wish it was spring too. But it was 50 degrees here today…so that’s a start! ~Ernie
