Bertie took us on so many adventures. *One of my favorites was back in 2013. He and Gail were on a train trip. While the train was stopped at Newcastle Station, Bertie decided he needed to stretch his legs. As soon as he saw an open door, he bounced out of the train. As soon as his paws touched the platform, he took off at Mach WFT speed with Gail chasing him.
*This was my absolute favorite adventure

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe I recall Bertie telling me once
that his human Great Granddad was born in the same English village as

I suspect that the 'Newcastle incident' was Bertie's favourite escapade too. It was certainly the closest I've ever come to a heart attack! And your memory serves you well and I love your Winnie the Pooh quote.

I had missed this train ride and run but read it by following the link on Berties blog this morning. it would have been my favorite also.. my heart hurts for Gails heart. for the silence of a home without Bertie. this is a perfect tribute as was Gails today.
