Happy Tuesday News from Howard

Thank you to our

I am a very dignified and rarely bark.  Notice my very curly tail.
OMDs K9 friends, cover your eyes.  Many say my breed is very **CAT like.😱😱  Since Cecilia gave me a very delicious treat, I agreed to Bark some very Happy Tuesday news about my Dad Greg

Greg had very serious surgery for the nasty esophageal cancer on June 28.  He was released from the hospital on July 5.  I heard all the details, but the main thing, I heard, was Dad Greg, aka my walking partner, is cured after some very very complicated surgery.   He has a 2-3 month recovery. He can only eat food that goes thru a straw currently but HE IS HOME AND STRONG and doing well.
We even took a short walk.  Dad Greg told Cecilia that the very first food he wants to CHEW, in 3ish months, is a Jr. hamburger from Barry's.  Cecilia and Bryan said they would like to go with them.  I BET he brings me a taste.

Today is also da Birthday of Mom Karen who is  very good nurse and Mom.

  1. It's lovely to meet Howard the Shiba Inu, but above all we are delighted that Greg is doing so well. Oh how he must be looking forward to chewing proper food again.
I was very pleased to meet up with her cousin Sue and her husband Martin when Nobby and I were down in Nottingham. Martin is recovering from the same surgery, plus chemotherapy. Six months on, he is still stick thin - he didn't have any weight to lose in the first place - but is building back his strength and managed a gently paced five mile walk with plenty of stops. (It was Martin who took the photos of Gail and Sue in Nobby's recent post.)
    Cheers, Gail.
