Thoroughly Poetic and Thankful Thursday #82

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

WATER

Wild and fierce in the sea
A necessity from the tap
Terrifying if accompanied by hurricane force winds
Erie during a storm
Run fast if you see it this high

Thank you Brian for hosting

Long time readers know I have mad puppy love for Cody. Each time I see him I am thankful he brings a smile to my face and what a testament to keep on keeping on....

Saturday, August 13, about 7:45 am. He was resting his senior bones comfortably. I snapped this photo.  As I rounded the corner there he was......

Waiting for me on the sidewalk.  Bless he sweet heart he got up to greet me. I was so excited the photo is not in focus.

  1. Cody is such a faithful friend and it's always good to see him on the blog, in focus or not!
As for water, it seems to be something we either have too much of or not enough. Rain this week was welcome here in the UK after several unusually dry months. But rest assured we'll soon all be back to grumbling about the wet weather...
    Cheers, Gail.

  4. Cody is a lovely dog. When we have storms in the UK they always seem to use that photo. I think it is actually in Wales.
