ReplyDeleteSeing the toasted sandwiches reminds me to make one for lunch... some 'vacon' with brie and cranberry sauce, methinks... and I need to get some more soup on the go! YAM xx
Looks good but Mom isn't into food anymore since she started a plant based diet almost a year ago. Going out to eat is pretty much impossible and food is just something she eats to keep going, the fun has been lost.

ReplyDeleteI would love that lunch, and the sandwich looks like my mothers homemade pimento cheese. I do love pimento cheese and alas it is on the NO list for IBS... pimento cheese was a cheap lunch, we had it at least once a week way back when.. white bread of course. back then I had no clue that sourdough existed. Now it is one of two breads I can eat.. French Bread and sourdough. both yummy...
