Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #52

 Two SPOILED CATS,

Angel Sammy and Teddy find such inspiring photos for us

Here is today's inspiration

In my mind's eye, I see the lady in the red top as the 'cause of the looks from the others

The life of the party
So she thinks, their faces tell a different story!
She finds it necessary to talk with her hands
Her mouth runs at top Mach speed.
In the center is her spot
The others want to tie her hands in a
KNOT.
The tale she is spinning is a repeat.
It gives two a headache and one is trying
of hold back a yawn.

International Kiss Two Ginger Cat Day kinda Wordy

I have two Ginger Cats in my life my
Grandcat Frisco and my feline Nephew Rocky
.
Frisco's Dad is an avid fisherman...that pleases Frisco

Before this photo was taken there were so many kisses to that ginger face. I needed a dose of hair ball medicine.   This is the first time I met Frisco.
He was about 11 months old he will be 7 this March.
Pardon my goofy grin.  I was quite happy.

Mom Kit said she heard Rocky tell Kat:
Auntie HiC said January 12 is Kiss a Ginger Day! Pucker Up, Buttercup❣️😹😹😹😹

Rocky getting a kiss from his mom

This was Rocky's man cave while he learned to coexist with
Kat and Pup.  We are purrty sure Rocky had been on his own for a while.

They both asked me to TELL you they are rescued felines.
Their TALES started off less than purrfect.
Now they are living their very best lives.
They Both have glorious long furry TAILS.

Happy Tuesday: Feline Flash Back

Recently while looking in my old photo folders, I found this photo of Madi.  She always made me happy and so have all of you.  Because of the blogging world Madi did things no cat would ever have been able to do...albeit virtual. All the hops she pawticipated in and pawties she attended will be forever in my mind's eye.  Today I'm sharing a flashback when Madi was Demo Derby Queen.  This event was hosted by Oreo.  I enlarged the photo shortly after I took it.  It sits by my computer.  Madi is still my muse.

Happy Tuesday with Rocky

Dearest Auntie HiC Mom and I meant to send this earlier.

Sandy Claws brought mom new walking shoes.
I got a new box. 😻😻😻

Awww Monday and Sparks

I had a lovely albeit very cold birthday on Friday, January 7th.

Your birthday wishes gave me many Awww moments.

 Thank you to our

Now for a little 1949 birthday trivia

1.  I was told my mom went to the hospital two times in December 1948 before I actually decided to be BORN just about on my due date in early January 1949.  My Mom's OB/GYN's name was Dr. Payne...

2. Very thankful my mom was an avid reader (which she passed on to me).  Originally she planned to name me Garnet (which is the birthstone for January).  I was told she saw the name Cecilia in a book she was reading.  St. Cecilia is the patron Saint of musicians.

3.  Being born in 1949 makes me older than dirt.  Diapers back in the dark ages were all cloth.  All had to be washed there were no clothes dryers they had to air dry in the frigid January air.  Evidently by the time she finished hanging all on the clothes line the first ones were a solid sheet of ice.    This tale made me especially thankful for Pampers (disposable diapers) in 1971 when my daughter was born

I googled: January 7, 1949 was the 7th day of the year 1949 in the Gregorian calendar. There were 358 days remaining until the end of the year. The day of the week was FridayJanuary 7, 1949 was the 7th day of the year 1949 in the Gregorian calendar.
