ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what folk can dream up about a simple every day object! And I hope the young fella's mum did indeed have good day. YAM xx
I would like to meet and/or see insidethe brains of the ones who thought to use a fish and a pumkin as a teapot and as a woman with her mouth the pour spout. they are all good and the artists are gifted. now I am wondering how many people collect teat pots like this. the dad was doing a good thing, teaching them young to shop for cards and baloons.
ReplyDeleteLove your happy story and those teapots are all truly gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThose are some crazy teapots!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such unique teapots. The one with the fish coming out of the pumpkin is kind of random in an interesting way ...
ReplyDeleteThose are so interesting. Good imaginations created them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet encounter with those boys and their dad. We love seeing all those different teapots.
ReplyDeleteI love those little ones with the best mom ever. You made me smile from ear to ear.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs. ♥
Those teapots are imaginative! I find them fascinating. Your encounter with the father and two boys was perfect for Happy Tuesday!

I'll bet those boys Mom had a very special biirthday, that's so sweet!
ReplyDeleteWell, me I just love antiques! I love to think back as to when the object was used. I'm 73 yrs. of age & I still have my gramma's end tables and they look great! When I sit next to one it's like I'm sitting at gramma's house. I sure do miss her.
ReplyDeleteThat's a precious story.............AND what a lovely bunch of clever and artsy teapots!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Sweet boys. And really neat teapots. XO
ReplyDeleteTeapots always remind me of a scene from Professor T (a Dutch detective show.) https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/QgrcJHsbhNDGBMKFLbcbhsshQpmhkFrVgXB?projector=1
ReplyDeleteReally loved the "conceptualness" of that first teapot. And the one with the lady's open mouth as the spout..don't think I could ever use that one, LOL. I hope that little 4 year old thinks that about his Mom his whole life, and thinking they have a good Daddy, too!
ReplyDeleteI love the happy story and all those teapots, I am in love with all things tea. I knew I liked you Cecilia, you share my late mother's name as well as her mother, my beautiful grandmother who had been my BFF. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI see teapots and I swoon! My husband and kids say, Ooooooh nooooooo! hahaha, I have a small collection but love them all. Thanks for the happy story and sharing your teapot photos. A nice exhibit. Enjoy yur day.
