Nature and Feline Friday from Oz

Nature Friday host LLB Gang   Click here Hostess Miss Mimi

SHE (aka Tobi) from Oz sent me an email with is video.  I thought would be perfect to post on Friday the 13th.
Naoise is the resident boss cat who is always in charge OF EVERYONE.
Naosie was being harassed by Apostle birds*.
I replied, I bet Dui is giggling in his head seeing Naoise being intimidated.  Watch closely, you will see Naoise at the bottom of the
first video and then a bit braver in second video

Terrier friends, you will find this quite disturbing.
For some reason, Dui the Scottie, who will terrorizes any dog not matter it's size. However, he is intimidated by Naoise da Boss Cat.
If she is sunning in the doorway, he whines until SHE comes to lift him over Naoise.
SHE said to tell everyone Naoise is a very sweet cat.
I replied, yep she is just being a cat they move when they want to move not a minute before.

NATURE
Oz does have some of the most interesting critters.

The apostlebird (Struthidea cinerea), also known as the grey jumperlousy jack or happy family,[2] is a quick-moving, gray or black bird about 33 cm (13 in) long. It is a native to Australia where it roams woodlands, eating insects and seeds at, or near, ground level. Apostlebirds often travel in groups of about 12; for this reason, they were named after the 12 Biblical apostles.

  1. Dui, this is a shocking post. Bertie would have been most disappointed and would have two words for you. "MAN UP'.
    Toodle-oo!
    Nobby.
PS Nobby's predecessor Bertie sent Dui a poem when he first came to live with HER. It contains advice on 'putting the Scot into Scottie': https://bouncingbertie.blogspot.com/2014/06/advice-for-dui-putting-scot-into-scottie.html

  9. Those are some screechy scratchy voices those birds have. Very different... kind of like crows but not. Love the Boss Cat that just flops down a bit out of their territorial invisible line. She cracks me up on her back not letting the dog pass! Enjoyed this post after I figured out who was who. My brain isn't working well today. Very cool name for the birds!

  11. Those sure are pesty birds. Naoise sure is a brave cat to hang outside with them screaming at her.

  15. Just don't let the Trout Towne Tabbies see this, they hate birds with a passion.

Boss Cat is boss in the house, that doesn't surprise me. With such birds, well, you're outnumbered and they can get away straight through the air.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!
