Symmetry Saturday

Almost overnight our leaves went from turning colors, to turning loose

But oh what a beautiful carpet of leaves we have

Back yard is golden, side yard is red...

Thankful our side and back yard are all natural no grass

so we just LEAVE the LEAVES there.

Lots seen on our front porch

  2. Beautiful pictures. Our yard look like that for 2 weeks, but with a lot of raking and picking up we're down to Green Grass again. And I prefer green over Brown just about anytime.

  3. With our drought our poor trees are in bad shape around here. I may have lost some of my favorites.

  5. Such pretty autumn carpets you have on your lawn. We've been working very hard to keep the leaves off our lawn too.

  7. I can't believe you have all those leaves! They are very pretty. No leaves here... just acorns on the street. Oaks hardly ever drop their leaves in our neighborhood. Was that lots or last seen on our front porch? I'm wondering how much life is left in the pumpkin :)

  11. It's nice to not need to rake. I have limited myself to 3 big bags of leafs a day to protect my back. With the draught we've had for several months, there is a burn ban, which I wouldn't do anyhow cause it's so dry, that's asking for disaster. I will be several months fitting those bags into my garbage can, LOL!

  12. Dad says he couldn't care less about the colors of the leaves since he grew up in New England. Mr. Whiny Pants has been sulking around here, muttering about wanting his summer back.
