Happy Tuesday from W. Peace Street

  • feeling or showing pleasure or contentment:

Thank you to our

 Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

While we were sitting at a stoplight recently, I looked to my right

I said OMCs where is the driver (you are not seeing things, I snapped this photo through the passenger window, that is my hand).

When the light changed the truck  moved.  I exclaimed there he is driving on the right side
and I noticed an international license plate on the front.

What an adorable Ute!!

  1. That would have thrown me off too! My first thought was that it was a self-driving vehicle! πŸ˜†

  2. Dad says it would've been cool if there was no driver. I know, I know- try living with him...

  3. These are looking trucks are actually from Japan. They've been around for years but we don't see them very often in this country.

I was going to tell you what Lynn already did! In OZ too, these Japanese used trucks are imported - so cheap to buy and run. YAM xx

  5. We see cars with foreign plates once and a while and rarely one where the driver is on the other side of the car. You can bring vehicles over from other countries.

  11. I thought it was a new AI electric truck, possilbe delivery from the big A ... would never have guessed the steering on the wrong side. i guess is the postal person can drive with the steering on that side, so can a man in a truck...

  12. Good Morning! (Marv waves wildly!) We are glad that you liked our Thanksgiving Card! We laughed so hard when we first played it, that we just had to share with our furrends! And we have an excuse to get our Peep to write to our furrends (instead of just reading their blogs).
HAPPY TUESDAY! We would be most happy if we did not have quite so much snow...but it does make it look more Christmasy...
And we must say, there are 2 vehicles in our teenie village that have right hand drive. There are actually quite a few in Canada...but it is disconcerting to NOT see the driver!

  13. Yes, I thought it was one of those self-driving vehicles too. I'd much rather see a drive at the wheel, no matter where the steering wheel is located.

  14. I guess it's rather rare to see 'wrong-sided' drivers in NC. Around Scotland, we get quite a lot of Germans, French, Dutch etc. coming over on holiday and bringing their left-hand drive vehicles. So much so that there are many signs in different languages reminding people to 'drive on the left'.

  15. What a cool find on your roadways. That is better than one of your special plates.

  16. I am surprised that is legal. XO

  17. Oh, how nice! I wouldn't mind having one of those to carry around my cleaning supplies.
