Today I'm sharing some photos I don't think you have seen.

Next are photos taken in Beaufort, NC.

They don't have a mall there but they surely know how to make happy times for all with decorations and opportunities for fun photos.

Reindeer and Santa below have openings for humans to place their faces for photos

While visiting our daughter and son in law they took us to
Friendly Market and Nursery.
It is just like Logan's so many things to see and and eat.  No Seaboard Café there but tons of food including a kitchen where they make all the foods they sale. You can buy an entire meal.   Last Tuesday night for supper we bought a variety of salads, spreads, crackers and deSSerts from Friendly's for our supper.
Even the most delicious collards.  We just had to heat and eat.
Friendly's sales NC made products

This Happy Peacock.  There is no other store like this in Morehead City.  It was PACKED  snapped the next two photos

  1. you flipped me back a half century to my aunt making her cheese straws, I can even taste them. YUM.. love the peacock and all the photos are wonderful, so glad you had a great time. I like the Beaufort places for selfies and photos. this year our downtown had a place like that, a swing that was decorated. saw it in the news but did not go down to see it.

  2. Those are fancy (and neat!) decorations. Sometimes I wish we could have nice things (besides cats ... though, they are worth it).

  16. That's a wonderful place, if I ever get to that part of the country, I'd be sure to stop for a visit, and to buy a meal!

  17. Oh what fun you had exploring these fun places - so much to see - YES like Logan's and many other stores......our small town here has many shops that go all out to make shopping special at holiday time too. Something I love about being away from the "mall atmosphere". Looks like you had a ball!

    Hugs, Pam

  18. Wow, you sure have a lot of places near to you that are full of the Christmas spirit. Had to biggify that one of the reindeer to be sure it wasn't real! It must be really hard keeping your wallet closed when you go into those kind of stores.
