Awww Monday with Kat and Rocky

 Thank you to our

Dearest Auntie HiC

Wow! Like a lot of the country, we’re experiencing Weather Whiplash, but we’re not complaining!

Here in Cleveland, Georgia is was

Mom opened all the doors, (locked & secured all screen doors 😉), & we're enjoying the fresh air, & Corinthian Bells wind chimes .

PS

The collage has a video of Rocky, & Rosie Robovac is in background drowning out the sound of chimes…😹

Mom spent some time sunning on the front porch. She say she feels these bells deep down into her soul.
If you’re sensitive to high pitched sounds, you might want to turn down volume.

Hope you’re enjoying a reprieve from winter too!

❤️ Kat & Rocky

Dear sweet nephews and Mom
Oh my cats yes indeedy we are enjoying this weather.  Last Friday it was 75.  I know what mom means about the chimes...I too feel them way deep down.
OMCs Rocky well done keeping all four paw firmly planted I bet Rosie the Robovac now knows she is not boss of you!!
Loving hugs to you all

  1. Wow, I would not be as quiet and calm as Rocky in the presence of a Robovac! The weatherman reported record January highs in parts of Scotland yesterday, but here on the NE coast we had wind, wind and more wind and it didn't feel that warm at all.
    Toodle-oo!

I too enjoy such bells... as 22'F (which you generally use over there) is equivalent of -5'C, I am guessing that up there in Ohio, Rocky and crew are using centigrade? We have had another wild gale storm come through, but overall, our temps have improved from the subzeros we were getting for a couple of weeks and one day last week it reached 12'C here... we've had colder summers in the Bonny Land, so I'll take that! YAM xx

  4. Love the chimes as we have them all over our yard. Can anyone ever have too many chimes?!

  5. Love the bells ~ we are next door to the Basilica and love the church bells ringing each hour, each day.

  6. I have one or two houses that I walk by that have wind chimes. And they are ones that are finally tuned so they actually sound very good. Then I'll walk by some houses where they just sound like wacky noise.

  7. We are all deeply depressed at our house. This is the most awful winter. All the fun events have been cancelled, our yard is a muddy mess rather than a snow playground, it is ugly out, no sun in over a week because of the fog and simply disgusting. Even we dogs don't want to go out much we just sleep. No love for this mess at our house or with most people around this area.

  8. Dearest Cecilia,
Lovely writing and here we did enjoy high 70°s on Wednesday and Thursday but that is over...
Kitties are happy when it is milder.
    Hugs,

  9. our small part of this world is weirding out, we swing from record heat to record cold, today i day one or record cold and will last 6 days, we had record heat 2 days of 84 and 86 just 4 days ago. bob's family in PA is complaining abou months of MUD. record mud... world gone wild. about the bells, we moved in this house in 1989, bob hung 2 of those bells like this one on the back of the house. the wind never stops here. i begged him to take them down, they drove me completly crazy. 3 weeks later the phone rings, the home that our back yards touch was calling. she said I need to ask you if you could take down those wind chimes, they are driving me crazy. she was shocked to the core, when I said i am so glad you called, thank you so much. Bob took them down and they have been hanging FLAT against the wall in the garage for 34 years. I can see by the comments I am in the minority.

  10. Yes to the weather in Florida. We lost our crotons to the cold two weeks ago. I do love chimes but some of them wear on my last nerve. I have switched to Capiz waterfall shells from Woodstock. They don't drive the neighbors crazy and I enjoy them. I want this cold to move out. Sunning on the front porch sounds lovely. We ran Rita the Roomba yesterday. She is great at vacuuming but she is a bit loud too. A very nice convenience for a house with tile. Always enjoy the videeohs from Kat and Rocky!

  11. My brother & sister-in-law hop around, they're in Florida right now until the weather changes and then they have a home in Michigan where they go to for the summer! Then they close up and go to LasVegas by my sister-in-law's son & his wife and stay there for about a month & that's when they go to Florida like in January until April I believe and then they start all over again... it's fun if you like that sort of thing. Thanks for sharing your pics!!!

  14. It sounds like they are having lovely weather down south. We're stuck in wet snow/rain/mud season around here. If we had wind chimes here Millie would be barking at them all the time! BOL!

  21. The weather here is very mild for the time of year, mid 40s to 50s, but so windy you wouldn't want to sit outside.
