Saturday Ice Sculpture and Symmetry FLASHBACK

January 6, 2018

Looking thru some files and OMCs...

Dixie looked like a winter wonderland back in 2018

Thankful we will not repeat that weather today.

After the roads were clear, we took a ride to WRAL-TV station

to see  the frozen water fountain.

That is me dressed like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

  1. Dearest Cecilia,
Such snow we never get here in central Georgia.
That frozen fountain is quite a sight and glad you got captured, standing in front of it.
    Stay cozy!
Couldn't sleep so I started reading blog posts... it is raining here.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  4. Those are beautiful pictures. But I realized down south that is just abnormal. I think I'm going to get a couple inches of snow here this weekend, but not near as bad as they had predicted. And I am grateful for that, even though it's so cold I dress like the Pillsbury Doughboy everyday that I walk, lol.

  9. That sure was a lot of snow for you back then. We still haven't gotten our normal amount of snow. It's all come down as rain so far so the backyard it muddy.

  12. I lived in the North (PA) for the first 30 years of my life, and never saw anything like that. It was definitely worth driving to to see, Miss Pillsbury Dough Boy. (We all dressed like that in PA!)

  14. Wow! Cool. I hope it doesn't get like that again. Too much damage happens around here when it freezes up.

  15. We don't get that much snow here, but we had a storm that year as well, and we had a lot, for us. Freezes aren't good for the swamps, I pray all of the places that shouldn't have snow don't get it this year.
