Wordless Wednesday with birds of a different feather

Thank you to our Hostess

Sandee at Comedy Plus

Original photo I took of a carved wooden bird at my

hair dresser's salon

Then I LunaPic'd it three time

Engraving

Fantasy which I like better than the orginal carving.

Kalidescope

I best I can tell it is a finch.

  1. The carved bird is really rather handsome. Love the 'life on the gutter' photo too.
Cheers from Gail and Nobby on a very wet and cold Aberdeen morning...

  2. I really like that wooden bird! The kaleidoscope effect is cool.

I'd say the doves have eaten themselves into a stupor! 😁

  3. Well these are some great Bird pictures this morning. That took a talented person to carve that dove.

  4. Life ON the gutter, not IN the gutter. Ha Ha. the wood carving is beautiful, makes me a tad jealous of the artist that created it.

  5. Nice looking carved bird. The kaleidoscope reminds Mom of those as a kid and how much fun they were to twist and make different designs. Memories.

  6. We like that carved bird but nothing beats the real thing. It will be fun to see if you get babies to watch in your nest.

  8. Love the bird carving and love your edit. Awww on the nest above the gutter. So precious. We protect them here wherever they build their nests.

  12. Very pretty and I love the art. We have to bring our feeders in every night because the bears are back. XO

  14. While your lunapic pic pretty, I still prefer the carving. And birds under your gutters. I'll trade you that for being in a wreath on your front door like what often happens around here! Btw, I like how your downspouts are painted to match your house.

  15. It's a very pretty carving.

Doves are pretty but not very bright about nest building.
