Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #160

 Thankful Thursday hosted by

Sending all kinds of healing PURRS TO TERRY,

Host of Thankful Thursday.

 JUMPIN'  CAT😸 FISH🐟

TERRY IS HOME AND MY BRYAN AND I ARE VERY THANKFUL

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD A GREAT BIG THANKFUL TO MOM CELESTA FROM ALL 8  KITTIES AND FERAL KITTIES FOR ALL HER TLC😻😻

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is our challenge for today

We planned a day at the beach
Fun in the sun and sand was our plan
We arrived to find  this craziness
What the Heck
we said in unison
We were in a panic
our plans for a picnic were not to be.
No way we would we
Unpack our sack for our morning snack.

  2. Good news about Terry thank goodness. By the way I like your April header and if it's been up for a few days, just notice how much detail I notice, lol.

  3. We are so happy for Terry, that was quite scary, and we know a bit about that kind of scare.

  6. We are beyond happy that Terry is home and I know his wife and kitties are too. Taking care of all their cats is a 2 person job for sure, possibly a 3rd might be needed if it were me doing the care for... wow! that is some photo. your poem says it all, I would have done what Yam said, turn and drive away

  7. Yes to your poem. I have never seen machinery that close to the beach. Luckily it has been way out when they have been dredging at our local beaches. I am very happy for Terry and his family.
    Good Morning!

  8. That's a great poem for that picture. We're curious to know where it was taken that people would still enjoy a day at the beach with that going on on the other side of the water.

  13. Great poem. The picture reminds me of the 'idyllic' tropical beach we were taken to on last year's bicycle tour in Cuba. Idyllic if one ignored the oil refinery backdrop, that is....
    Cheers! Gail.
