Happy Tuesday with Kat and Rocky and a guest

Thank you to our

Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

The peeps have been planning their daily walks around the daily thunderstorms.
We saw this one heading in our direction; beautiful & scary!

You’ll never guess what they saw yesterday on their walk!
A marmot!

MOL MOL Mom
He was sitting there like he owned the place and like he was gonna give out advice.

😹

We wish they had brought him back for us to meet! What could go wrong? 😹😹😹

 Kat & Rocky

Dearest Nephews OMCs I have always wondered what a Marmot's voice would sound like.  This video answered that question.  As for a meet and greet...I would rather not tangle with his razor sharp teeth and sword claws.

  1. Wew had some thunder-boomers here too...at least no tornadoes....

That is a cheeky Marmot...aka groundhog...or woodchuck! We have then all over around here...naughty they can be...but yes they are cute, but even the young ones will stand their ground if confronted...MJF tried to get one for himself once...I rescued it out of his ferocity! And form the msrmots returning teeth hisses and claws! I always like how they stand up straight to monitor their territory.

  3. Kat and Rocky we have a groundhog that lives so very close that he comes by every day. He looks a whole lot like that marmet and no way would we get near those claws. Maybe he thinks he's a bit like Lucy from the Peanuts cartoon and can give away advice for five cents a piece.

  4. He's a handsome fellow! I've seen lots of groundhogs, they're common here, but I've never seen a marmot!

  8. If the marmot is anything like our woodchucks - keep your distance!

  9. We have never seen a marmot and I doubt we ever will down here. Really is cute and he looks very intelligent. Love to see him I would also like to see what you would do if you saw him but I would hope that you would be on a leash and not running for a ha ha

  15. I LOVE that music the marmot was playing as he waited for customers. I have an ear worm now! Holy cow, I need to look up what they are and their range of living.

  16. Just wanted to thank you for stopping by, and your words of sympathy. I’m missing my beautiful girl, and always will, but the other collies are doing their best to provide comfort.

  17. Some of those storms are whoppers. I'm sure the marmot could give great advice about living in the moment and enjoying where you are.
