Happy Tuesday with Kat and Rocky in Colorado

Thank you to our

Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

Dearest Auntie HiC,
On May 10, Mom saw snow on the weather radar just north of us. So, the peeps jumped in the car, & headed north on CO Hwy 145.

When they left the campground, the temperature was 40°, but it started dropping quickly.
By the time they reached Rico the temp had dropped to 27° & snow was beginning to stick to side of the roads.

They ran in the Mountaintop Store, got a couple sandwiches & headed home.
Hope you enjoy their Snowy Joyride❣️

Yes, we were happy to stay home, nice & cozy.

Lovingly,
❤️ Kat & Rocky

Dearest Nephews

Auntie HiC got the shivers watching that video

MOL MOL Your staff has a new title now

  1. Gosh, driving deliberately into areas where it's snowing is something only skiers do here in Scotland! (Something to do with snow almost always being accompanied by strong winds so snow drifts quickly block the roads, even where the snow plough has just been through)

  2. Dearest Cecilia,
Oh my, driving into the snow... even though it was not too bad and indeed looked fabulous in that natural setting.
But sure can't blame Kat and Rocky for snuggling up together...

  5. I've heard of people running from snow ... but not chasing it! Perhaps Rocky & Kat's Mom should live up North?

  6. Dear Kat and Rocky, that was a fascinating video. And since we didn't have much snow in Northern Ohio this winter I guess it was okay to watch it on the computer screen. But those that have snow can actually keep Snow, thanks anyway. We had Sunshine yesterday and expecting rain today.

  7. As much as we love our snow, this time of year it is only a waste of good snow as it is usually wet and melts away quickly. I'm sure that snow will leave as fast as it showed up.

  8. I'm sure that was magical to see, but given where I live and how cold our winters are, I don't want to see snow anywhere, in any way, until next December. 😆

  20. What a pretty ride!!! It looks like they rode through a Christmas Tree Farm. We love the snow, and we are tired of the rain.

  21. Snow chasing! Reminds me of one of the few times it snowed here. My kids were watching the local sports team in the championship game and the snow was coming down, they would race to the door to watch the snow, then race back to the TV, over and over the whole game.

As for me, I'm all about staying warm and cozy, just like the cats.

  22. BOL, Mommy says most folks avoid snow, especially snow storms like that one. I guess you really are snow chasers! XOX Xena and my pack
