Remembering Angel Pup....

Not

Thank you to our Hostess

Dearest Auntie HiC....
Mom & Dad specifically reserved campsites at the opposite end of the campground from where we were last year when our sweet Pup passed away in his sleep a year ago today,
May 29, 2023.

Yesterday, they finally decided it was time to walk to that end of the campground.
Someone was camping in our old site, & the couple & their dog were sitting outside. Mom smiled, with tears behind her sunglasses, & intended to walk on by, but she made direct eye contact with the beautiful pup, & had to go talk to the people. Of course she was sobbing by then, & she told them about Pup. Well, the lady, Andrea, started crying too, while D & the other man just looked at each other.
Andrea & hubby were kind, caring & compassionate. I loved all over Remington (maybe Australian Shepherd mix), & the tears turned into a smile.  I still believe most people in the world are good, regardless of what we hear or read in the news.
Remembering our sweet Pup❣️
Always in our hearts❣️
Lovingly your Feline Nephews

  2. Dearest Cecilia,
Angel Pup was a lively and happy boy and what a sad—sudden passing for him!
Guess our pets can face all our human health surprises and we never know.
    Lovely video.

  3. I cried when I read the story and I cried again when I watched the video. Pup was the best pup ever and will always be missed. I am so happy that there was another pup in the campsite to share love and tears with. Men are Men and women are women..

  5. Mom couldn't go back to that spot, it would be too sad. He probably sent those people and the pup for you all to meet.

  6. Kat and Rocky, that was a courageous thing your mom did. It's good she was able to cry with another understanding pet mom. ❤️❤️

  8. That would have been a difficult trip to make back to there. How fun to see Pup with his front legs crossed! One thing about dogs, they have such expressive faces. Not that Kat and Rocky are not expurresive, mol. Thank you for sharing a memory.

  20. I know it was hard for your Mom to visit that campsite again but in doing so, she received the gift of kindness from strangers and I'm sure it made the day better in many ways. We too believe most people in the world are good and kind - it's just that the BAD sometimes overshadows the GOOD. Big Hugs.........

  21. It was such a shock when Pup suddenly crossed the bridge. You were brave when you walked to that spot, and you were rewarded for it. I'm sure those kind folks will never forget that brief time they were able to share your pain and lift it just a bit. Thank you for sharing those sweet pictures of your dear dear Pup.

  22. My condolences for your loss. I'm glad you were able to pet their dog, as hard as it was, it probably helped, too.
