  1. Thank you for taking us on such a lovely drive. The mansion is an impressive structure.

  2. Dearest Cecilia,
The single family home must consist of 'young' people as there are no hand rails alongside those steps leading to the home...
While biking here locally, my husband Pieter and I often discovered that for most homes such a hand rail is lacking!
We got one alongside the steps leading to our veranda and also on both sides leading up to our front door.
And of course on both sides alongside our staircase.
Would not be able to manage without...
    Hugs,

  4. We always enjoyed our Saturday drive about looking at homes and a lot of log cabins and places with acreage. we did just a few weeks ago follow Riverview Drive looking at where the other half lives.. 10,000 square feet of living space is not to my taste. even if I had someone to clean it for me. the condos look very much like the ones we have here, except the bottom floor has shops and restaurants. and wow do they cost a mint.

  6. I would have thought that fancy single family house( who can call it a house )would have been a museum or a library, lol.

  8. The first home really is lovely. Arched windows and stone work get me every time. Too big for us oldsters! The trees are beautiful on their lot. Hope they have a comfy back porch... four seasons porch/enclosure :)

  9. The buildings are lovely but we actually got distracted by the blue skies because it has been grey and rainy here for days. Lee and Phod
