Thoroughly Poetic Thursday#165

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is our challenge for today

By the dog

My assignment was clear
I was to show up at the garage
Needing a home was my cover.
My pitiful whining and shaking
act was well practiced.

Attached to my collar was a
camera.  It captured them all
in unsavory illegal gambling behavior .

Before I knew it slam, bam the Feds arrived.
Hollering FBI hands against the wall, legs apart.
The crooks had no idea it was I,
Deputy Dog, who cracked the case.
