Thank you to our
Recently we took a ride over to Cameron Village Shopping center. We knew there were lots of new shops and cafes.
Most days before I retired (2011) I had lunch at one of their cafes. It is within walking distance from NC State University. I can not tell you how very very happy I was to see this beautiful mural. It was a block long.
Now study the hummingbird carefully. It appears he is standing but the rest of the story is there was a diamond shaped orange road work sign smack in the middle of the sidewalk. I had no idea when I snapped the photo from this angle it wouldlook like a stand for the hummingbird.

That mural is magnificent in so many ways. What a wonderful sight.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks pretty good too!
ha! sometimes it is like magic when we watch a photo later... and we love egg salad.. summer is the time for that... :o)
ReplyDeletestunning mural! I love it when I find things in a photo that I did not SEE when taking the photo.. it does look just like a stand and I zoomed in to see the stand. I find I am liking all the murals around town here
ReplyDeleteThat is a fantastic muriel. We have lots in our tiny little town, but nothing is colorful as this and especially with birds. Looks like he had a great time and some great food.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous mural and lunch looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteCool mural, but those long ones are hard to get in a photo, still we love finding good murals.
ReplyDeleteThat's an incredible mural, the artist is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLunch looked yummy! I sometimes would get a cold plate for lunch when I lived in Nova Scotia, but that's not something they have here in this region, at least not that I've ever seen in my 28 years living here.
Gorgeous mural! I love the video with the colorful yellow and red umbrellas. It's such a summer thing... reminds me of summers past in a nostalgic way. I want that lunch! I am intrigued by the dill pea macaroni salad... I have no doubt that is a delicious macaroni salad. Egg salad is a favorite of mine too. Lovely post today, C!
