My thoughts on this with the letters of Moving Day
Make sure you hire professionals,**
Or this day will turn into a nightmare
Vehicles will be ruined
Individuals injured
Never NO never use a motorcycle to haul things
Gracious me what were they thinking
Doom and gloom will follow if done this way
Attorneys will profit
You will save lots of grief and money see #1**
I am thankful to have a medical practice full of folks who love to have fun!!
Last week I had Fasting labs and my Senior Wellness Physical
The signs below were posted in the Lab, I copied what was on each one.
Gail enjoyed her chats with the phlebotomist in hospital - a nice lady from Algeria who distracted Gail from the blood sucking business by telling her about her favourite foods from her home country.
ReplyDeleteThat looks a very perilous way of moving things! I am so used to having bloods drawn now as I have it done every Tuesday. The good thing is that since I joined an extension of the NHS app. I get my results within 3 hours.

ReplyDeleteBwaaahhaa... Great poem and fun notices! YAM xx
I loved those Moving Day words!
ReplyDeleteThose notices should go up in the lab where I go...too!
Love those signs. A little humor helps put you at ease when going to places like that.
ReplyDeleteI see nothing good coming out of those two movers in the top picture.
I laughed at the pic of the movers, Cecilia, all the more so because of the 🇨🇦 flag!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great sign, btw, nothing like that at our LifeLabs locations!
Well that is fun to see a doctor's office that would actually try to show a little levity and what they do. Your poem was a good fit. Motorcycles used to be fun to ride on in our life but they are gone and let's keep them that way here at my house.
ReplyDeleteNice idea to add some humor to a place that scares a lot of people.
ReplyDeleteWe need some humor and kindness at our blood work lab and our PCP's office. I want a PCP like you have! Scared beyond words to have my BP taken but blood work doesn't bother me.
ReplyDeleteYes, YES, yes to your Moving Day Poem!!!
We love your poem and have seen similar thing in the labs I go to for my blood lettings.
ReplyDeleteit is good to have a little humor in the workplace for staff and patients. I missed the flag on the bike. not something I would ride even without the trailer and fridge.
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun and very moving poem! Hooray for fun loving medical personnel, that lightens the day when you're there. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteCan you even imagine doing something so reckless and dumb?! Love your poem and the signs posted in the lab☺
ReplyDeleteLoved the picture and your fun poem. I went to my own phlebotomist today. She was a no-nonsense don't look you in the eyes one, but she got me out of there fast and I was happy for it, lol! Thankfully the doctor and nurse, well, I could have adopted them, they were lovely! Thanks for the fun post my friend and have a great day. Sending hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood poem!!! I couldn't;t think of anything! The signs are a day brightener! I love collecting things like that and blogging them.
ReplyDeleteSuch a true(and funny) poem today....and a pawesome Blood Lab!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth
A totally adorable poem today AND we think your medical team is smart to put smiles on the faces of the patients !!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
I like the way you structure the poem. Well done.
ReplyDeleteA medical office with a sense of humor and the desire to make their patients comfortable. We think your poem was perfect - for sure what WERE they thinking???

I've had "vampires" who pull that blood painlessly, and others I would rather not encounter again! Hope yours was the former.
