Dear Auntie HiC,
Last weekend a cold front has moved through north Georgia. Brrrrr! Our temperatures dropped from the 90s to mid 60s!
This was wake up temperature on Monday, August 4, 2025

I saw this cute sweater & wondered if you could knit it in a jiffy & send it to me ASAP! 😹

❤️ Rocky

PS

Dear Friends this was not me...
da poor cat in the picture looks miserable, and I’m sure, I Rocky, would be too. 😹 The caption on the picture says: “When you spend the weekend with Grandma!” 😹
Sincerely
Rocky a very thankful Georgia Ginger!!

Dearest nephew Rocky
Auntie HiC would move heaven and earth to make sure you were comfy and happy.  However, I am very thankful you don't need a sweater.
Lovingly Auntie HiC

  1. Thank you, Ms. Carol & Yam Aunty for introducing us to this gorgeous dragonfly. We’ll definitely look for them the next time we travel out west. Auntie HiC, how’s the sweater coming along? 😹

OMC, Rocky - you would look totally cutesome in a your own cardigan... but really, with such a fine fur coat already, do you need more??? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. That is a beautiful dragonfly. That cat doesn't look pleased to be dressed up. I am glad you don't need a sweater like that. Just fluff your fur out when it is chilly, that will keep you warm!

  5. What a pretty dragonfly that is. We had a few of those low temperature mornings here in PA as well. No sweaters were involved. I know my daughters cat would not be happy about wearing a sweater like that.

  6. The dragonfly is such a beautiful color and mom loves it when the temps drop to the 60's at night! The little sweater is so pretty but your furs are too pretty to cover them up, Rocky!

  7. Lynn wants Rocky to know that she loves the dragonfly. And blue is our favorite color so I would like one to fly over my patio. And Rocky we've had cold weather here and I've been outside in the dark every morning. But it's getting hotter in the afternoons and I'm not allowed outside in the sun. I think our color first make a perfect complement each other. Precious

  8. Bailie and Mom saw a dragonfly that looked like that the other day. The sweater looks perfect on the orange fur cat but I don't think cats like to wear sweaters, LOL!

  9. Amazing photo of the dragonfly. Rocky, my kitties would run away from home if I tried to put them in a sweater.

  10. Beautiful dragonfly ~ we remember Murphy & Stanley, along with so many other "Blogville" pups, some who would gather on great camp-outs and meet ups in "days of old", we do miss them ... as for you, Mr Rocky, a blankie would be more comfy than that sweaterthing! But don't worry, the hots are likely to come back soon ...

  11. Goodness, that's a stunning photo of the dragonfly! Excellent capture!

Rocky, right now I could take temps in the 60s! I know our summers here are short, but the heat and the drought have been brutal.

The sweater is cute, but cats are not human babies, so I feel badly for the poor thing.

  12. That is one beautiful dragonfly! Good job C and Y!

Rocky, although you wuld look so very adorable in a sweater, we also think you will be much more comfy in your natural furry sweater!
    xoxo,

  13. We love seeing dragonflies zooming around our yard and that's a pretty one. That's a cute sweater, but I wouldn't want to be wearing one either.

  17. The dragonfly is so pretty! I like them and try to get pictures, too.

We didn't get quite so cool down in the swamps, but we did have a definite cooling off which felt quite nice. No sweaters needed and my cats wouldn't want any, either.

  18. That dragonfly is amazing!!! While I agree cats don't "need" sweaters, that is an adorable sweater for sure.......AND of course the kitten is adorable - all kittens are!

  19. The dragonfly is so impressive. Great photo and awesome identification from Aunty Yam. It was horridly hot here, then a few days of bliss, and now the heat and humidit have returned BIGTIME.
