Thankful from Kat and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #231

Dear Auntie HiC,

After Pup’s passing, Mom expressed her uncertainty about how she would cope without dogs in her life.

However, she firmly believed that no one could have filled the void left by Pup like I have. I, Kat the Trememdously loving Tabby am VERY THANKFUL I could do this.

I suppose you could say I’m quite extraordinary❣️

❤️ Kat

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at

Below is our photo challenge for this week

A beautiful day in nature
makes me happy
this type of gathering
would make me very crabby.

  1. I am very happy you were there to help your Mom through such a sad time. Cute poem and if I had to deal with such a crowd, I would be crabby too.

  2. You are extraordinary, and a great comfort to your mom. I saw you smile as you turned to face the camera, Kat.
I hate crowds, and that gathering would make me crabby too.

  7. Kat there is no doubt that the minute your mommy saw you she knew that you would help heal any heartbreak she had. And I know Katie Isabella feels the same way about you. We're not too keen on that photograph, talk about up a creek without a paddle. There's no way anybody is going to get out of that creek.

  8. Mom can't imagine ever being without a dog. She didn't know how it would be not having a cat since she had had a cat since she was seven but she doesn't miss having a cat at all but a dog is a much bigger part of life so it would be really hard to not have one around. Maybe in old age she will feel differently as life is about phases one goes through. Glad kitty helped you live without a dog.

  13. Count me in with everybody else that the boat pile up party would make me crabby. In my twenties I might have found that fun but not in my mid seventies. Too peopley and I don't do too peopley now at all. Kat, you were heaven sent, a gift to ease and purr your Mom through her grief.
