Nature Friday host LLB Gang
Thank you for hosting!
Recently when Bryan was in the gym,
I decided to take a walk in the neighborhood
The area is new to me...I started what I thought was a short walk
but OMCs I walked 1.6 miles. A OK though is saw lots of pretty flowers. I love the feathery clouds and the blue sky
I was tempted to take a rest on this bench on the corner of Windsor Ridge and Rooksley Ct
Glad I kept on trekking I saw more lovely nature.

I love discovering old things that I forgot I had.
While rearranging my cups look what I found up on the top shelf
Years ago favorite sissy and brother in law of angel Madi went to the Pacific Northwest on vacation. They gave me a Seattle's Best coffee cup with a picture of the inFAMous Henry one of Seattle's coffee blends. As you see from the other side of the cup
Henry is one hip cat.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Ellen came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. My favorite kind of pie is strawberry/rhubarb. I've only had it made by my sister in law. Hers is excellent.
2. I will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with corn beef brisket, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and cornbread.
3. I was correct when I predicted I would not complete my poncho until fall 2026.
4. I didn’t see the need for a new dental bridge coming when I had my 6 month dental in early February..

the flowers are great.. they have such a vivid color... maybe they can chase the gray away? happy special furryday

ReplyDeleteA delight to the eye - especially as it snowed here last night!!! YAM xx
The flowers are so cheerful and beautiful! Last week when I shopped, I saw a brisket for fifty dollars and it wasn't even a big one!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the flowers, especially since we, too, had snow on the way, with plenty more later today and overnight. Such is March here! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteA nice place to walk. I've never had Rhubarb. It's not common here in MS.
ReplyDeleteOops that was me, I forgot to change it from Anonymous.
DeleteWhat a nice walk you had. Love all the pretty flowers. I can't wait to start seeing them around here again.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing me the pansies that were growing outside. I'm glad you had a long walk. My walks have been very occasional. No walking yesterday too brutally cold and windy and I won't be able to walk again today. We are going to have 60 mile an hour winds with warnings not to be out in it. Crazy weather. It'll be fun to see when you get your poncho finished.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful, and the mug is cute. That looks like a lovely walk.
ReplyDeleteMom loves exploring new areas on walks but her challenge is not getting lost. She can walk forever but sometimes it is a necessity as she gets lost easily, LOL! Happy Friday the 13th!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful walk, everything is getting so green in Raleigh!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth
What a beautiful neighborhood. I can see why you walked for so long; so much to see!
ReplyDeleteCool finding the forgotten mugs! You’re preparing the perfect St. Patty’s Day meal! ☘️
What a lovely place for a walk. That's a cute mug you re-discovered and I enjoyed reading your fill-ins.
ReplyDeleteI did my fill-ins over at Auntie Ellens on the day she published them. I haven't had strawberry rhubarb pie since I was 12!!!! Loved it!!! Boy, you sure had a beautiful walkie! Madi, you look so precious in your hat up there in the header occurs. xxx

ReplyDeleteHugs to you Cecilia and Angel Madi ~ xo
You sure had a nice out n' about with lots to see in your pretty area!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful area you walk in. Cool mug. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except for needing a bridge. XO
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful walk!
ReplyDeleteHenry certainly seems hip to me. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
Charlee: "Henry IS one hip cat! You can tell by his little hat!"
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Our Dada likes strawberry rhubarb pie too! He gets them sometimes from the Julian Pie Company ― he says they're expensive, but worth it! Of course, we wouldn't know, since he doesn't share them with us ..."
