Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo challenge
It was an all you can eat buffet.
My tummy said yummy
I grabbed a plate plied it high
My eyes said OH My
I looked in the mirror
To my surprise, I saw Little Miss Muffet
Peeping over the mile high pile
with smiling eyes
I am thankful it is THIS Thursday
and not last Thursday when I spent 4 hours at the dentist
Thankful the soreness from 4 hours having 4 hands in my mouth
is no existent.
Thankful our lawn guy Seth came on Tuesday for the first grass cutting of the season
He is so dependable...

Haha! That is a cute poem...her eyes were a lot bigger than her stomach!

ReplyDeleteLOL... there is just a vague possibility that twigged a memory... but I am saying nothing! I am so grateful to know you... YAM xx
Ugh, lawn mowing. Mom likes mowing the lawn but it has to be done so much it makes her crazy. We hope it isn't needed for at least another month or so.
ReplyDeleteLove your poem and her eyes are definitely bigger than her stomach! We just got rid of our snow so no grass cutting here yet.
ReplyDeleteDig in...lol I don't think I could make it through half of what's on that plate.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's not last Thursday too. That wasn't a fun day for you
Your poem is perfect! I know you'll be glad when your "dental adventure" is FINALLY totally over with. We are a long way from having our first grass cutting event - sadly!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy
good job on the poem, I know you will be happy when the new bridge is here and DONE! I hope little miss muffet did not clean her plate
ReplyDeleteFunny poem to go with a funny picture. Glad your mouth is feeling much better. Up here we have pouring down rain all day yesterday and must have been well over an inch. Had to bring the rain gauge in in the afternoon because now this morning it's 29°. And next week is going to be even worse. However my daffodils are trying to bloom!
ReplyDeleteFunny poem! Her eyes definitely were bigger than her belly!
ReplyDeleteShe must be starving.
ReplyDeleteoh we would look happy over this plate too :O)
ReplyDeleteExcellent poem and great THANKFULS!
ReplyDeleteThe poem is cute! That mound of nachos is nausea-inducing. Lol.
ReplyDeleteUgh to the dental ordeal. I've been a couple of hours at a time, but not four. ❤️
Lawn mowing already....We're still getting rid of our snowbanks, though much is gone now, at least until tomorrow's storm.
Thankd for the Thursday giggle. Just looking at that food makes me feel full BOL
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth
That's a great poem about that huge pile of food. You sure have lots to be thankful for. Our first mowing won't be for a couple of months from now.
ReplyDeleteMan alive...I sure am glad you got thru the dentist! I SURE know from mom's meows what THAT'S like. Had a go-round with them regarding my right fang here a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good poem and terrific thankfuls. Our lawn guy isn't very dependable, oh wait, I'm the lawn guy LOL! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteCute poem! Always something to be thankful for❣️
ReplyDeleteWe have to cut all year! Your lawn guy showing up for the season is a sign of Spring and Summer! SSNS could make a good dent in that.
ReplyDeleteGrateful you well and fun poem ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia and Angel Madi ~ xo
Great poem. Glad you are not in pain. XO
ReplyDeleteI love the Little Miss Muffet reference.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, it seems like there is always grass to be mowed, no matter how many giant holes Lulu and I did back there ..."
