Thoroughly Thankful and Poetic Thursday #264

Thankful Thursday hosted

TWO THANKFULS

1.  EXTREMELY THANKFUL Angel Sammy was able to get thru all the cobwebs on the interWEBs to send his PHOTO TO US FOR THIS WEEK

***************

2.Our neighbors are having their kitchen remodeled
Yesterday,  a loo was delivered on site
I am VERY, VERY, VERY THANKFUL THE LOO DOOR IS NOT FACING MY KITCHEN WINDOW.

 Today we join

Angel Sammy and brudder Teddy
at Sammy's Poetry Corner

I found this trunk
While plundering in the attic
I was certain it was full of junk
However, I admired the craftmanship.
As I carefully opened it,
I wondered if something would jump out at me
I must say I was very happy there was nothing alive
especially a
SKUNK

  3. Oh, the johnny on the spot comment made me laugh! Yes, good thing it doesn't face your window! 😁

Junk in the trunk....That makes me wonder about the weirdest things people really have found in trunks! (And I don't mean the Antiques Roadshow things.)

  4. Oh my! It would have been just a bit TOOOOO much to see inside the loo and I guess they figured that out when it was delivered. Thankfully. Love the poem - it's fun and we just knew that old chest photo would inspire some great poetry!!!!!!! We think next week's will be fun too..................Happy Thursday.

    Love, Pam and Teddy

  6. I would be grateful that the door on that loo wasn't facing my window too.
A skunk in a trunk, jumping out to surprise you would not be a good surprise.
