Up high in the sky
my eyes did spy
a bird, a plane or perhaps
ET about to land
Oh My
Then in a nanosecond we came around the corner
lo and behold it was not a space ship
but a most unusual water tower growing right out of the
trees. So tall I could not get it in one pictue.
The just a block to my surprise
another amazing tower growing out of the trees
Not sure what it was but
Boys and girls Nature can surely be strange.

What a sad day and I can't even imagine what it was like for those directly involved.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the first picture of the water tower it reminded me of one we have by our mall.
What a beautiful post and for a day that we will never forget. What a huge water tower and very pretty as water towers go!
ReplyDeleteAngel Madie he worse sweetheart to be watching for Irma. And who knew that ET was going to float over your mommy's head with that giant spaceship. We will never forget September the 11th.
ReplyDeleteIt is a day Mom will never forget even though she was living abroad at the time. She is glad she had been to and seen the towers years before but it is still something that is hard to imagine even happened.
ReplyDeleteWhat crazy water towers you found, and such a scary fun Madi memory!
