Dear Friend,
For many years when I brushed Madi I would take the fur out of her brush and
roll it into a ball. I was not really sure what to do with the precious balls of fur until I received this beautiful black box
with Madi's photo on it. Now I have the purrfect place to store them.
Dear friends...we love our new 'puppy'. Of course his red
heart scarf and adorable heart eye patch have won our HEARTS.
His given name was Heartbreaker...we are calling him Heart.
He will have a permanent place on the guest bed by Spring, Madi's Bunny.
I promise to give our fresh mini Ros(y) plant just the right amount of
love and water to keep her happy.
Ellen sent it with a note
"Someone bought Prancie's Prayer for you...but
I can't tell you who it was."
Thank you to SOMEONE for buying this for me what a precious book.
Thank you a purrfectly hand carved and painted Madi
by two of our personal friends.
It fits right on top of her box.
Thank you dear friend
I have so much to be thankful for namely all of YOU our friends and your love and support
for 9 years of blogging and ESPECIALLY after my dear Sweet Diva went OTRB.
On Tuesday, October 9th, we rec'd a package from Hidden Valley Animal Hospital. Where everyone there loved Madi as much as we did. This is what was in the package.
A beautiful "In Memory Of Madi" crystal ornament and card.
Currently it is hanging on my favorite photo of Madi. It will have a
special place of honor on our Christmas tree too.
Today, October 19, 2018
we received a loving gift from our dear friends.
It was ordered from The Vintage Pearl. This company shipped it with love.
The box was wrapped in the tissue paper and tucked in the
Vintage Pearl bag
Madi would have loved licking the pink tissue paper until it was covered
in kitty slobber.
Inside the box the ornament was in a delicate drawstring bag and even came with a jewelry polishing pad.
It is a hand stamped Christmas Tree Ornament on a red velvet ribbon with a pearl.
The inscription reads, Madi forever 2018
Madi love Christmas trees and lights. She could often be found sleeping under the tree on a box or on the tree skirt. This ornament will be placed near
a tree light sunpuddle...shining brightly on her.
Cecilia, I didn't know you had this tab. The hand carved Madi is adorable. I love that you rolled Madi's furs in little balls and saved them... ♥ Madi left a big impression in blog land. She will always be missed and loved by so many people!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, I just this morning noticed this tab on your blog. The loving kindnesses displayed here are so touching, and the letter from the SPCA brought tears to my eyes. Isn't that just what Madi would have wanted? She will never be forgotten. Amy
ReplyDeleteThanks for your advice on my blog. Loved seeing your poem page!
ReplyDeleteThere are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith.
