Madi Presents...Did you know

Did you know this about North Carolina

In 1903 the Wright Bros. made the first successful powered flight by man at Kill Devil Hill near
Kitty Hawk, NC. The Wright Memorial at Kitty Hawk now commemorates their achievement.
**
The Outer Banks of NC has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
**
Cape Hatteras is the largest lighthouse ever to be moved due to erosion problems
**
Known as 'Fish Town' in the early 1700's when Blackbeard frequented the coast, "Beaufort Town' was established as a seaport with the right to collect customs in 1722.
**
The State Motto is 'Esse quam videri' (To be rather than to seem)
**
NC is the largest producer of sweet potatoes in the nation and
The Sweet potato is the official State Vegetable
**
Not official but...
Madi is pretty sure she is the only cat in NC who rides an exercise bike

  3. WTG Madi!!! Keepin' them tocks in shape? Our servants used to go to The Outer Banks effury year! They stay in Waves. Mom and Dad has been to the Wright Brothers Memorial, and mom almost hand a heartattack walking up ALL of those stairs at The Hatteras Lighthouse! Then even stumbled upon the State Aquarium while they were down there. They also make sure that effurytime they go, they try some weird food they neffur had before. So far, they had frog legs and kangaroo. That, mom says, tasted like steak. But they LOVE to go to Dirty Dick's crabshack. I mean really, with a name like that, how can you NOT go there?!? Have a happy day!
