Madi's Dad decided today was the day to bring the outside inside to

MADI

(translated...lets see if we can drive the Cat Crazy).

He comes running in the house, 'get the camera ready...where is Madi',

Well it is the middle of a cloudy Saturday afternoon, I say, I expect she is napping.

'M A D I', he bellows, come here.

The Diva thinks it is feeding time at the Zoo she comes

running...little does she know....

Dad

has decided it is time for her to meet her first

PUMPKIN

We (I'm in on the trick, this is fun) think she will be alarmed...you see Madi isn't happy

when her environment is changed even the smallest change.

she casually strolls around it taking in every single smell from

the outside world smelling high

then again smelling low


and finally giving it the Madi seal of approval she
sits down beside it never once blinking a laser eye....

The Joke is on us

Madi likes pumpkins or maybe just the new smells.

Ok now Mom is gone I can do what I really want to do, take a nap. The book will keep my head at just the right angle to see Mom when she comes around the corner again.

The Diva is pondering the need for a portfolio. She wants to be ready when
Hollywood comes calling. She needs feedback from her friends on the below pictures.

give her a svelte supermodel appearance

2. Sitting pretty in the purrfect fe-lady paw placement. She says this stance displays
her symmetrical facial features, pink nose and green cat eyes

Wordless Wednesday

Parts and pieces of Madi

Madi is a girly girl...she has beautiful parts and pieces. We love all 11 lbs of her starting with her thick, luxurious gray fur with soft white patches, her long graceful ballerina legs, her gorgeous white hind legs and long tail, her long white whiskers**, her pink and black pads, her dainty white feet, the absolutely precious pink nose and the freckle, her ears feel like velvet,her white tummy that begs to be rubbed and those laser eyes.

**NOTE: Madi's Dad is in a model train club. The members build all the trains and the scenery. In one of the sections of scenery there is a model SUVs that needed an antenna. One of the members said a cat whisker would be perfect. Madi's Dad said he would 'ask' Madi if he could have one of hers. Madi agreed to this day Madi's whisker still serves as an antenna for the SUV. Yet another reason she is a diva.

Madi: Friends, fun, puppies and festivals

Well Mom is pretty excited she had great Saturday (not at home with me) but out

meeting new people and seeing new things. I know all of you know Riley and Star the famous dancing Maltese pups...well let me introduce you to their human brother Jason and his wife Haruka Oatis below with my mom right there in the middle. Jason and Haruka have an organice farm, Edible Earthscape in Pittsboro, NC. On Saturday mornings they come to Raleigh to sale their

lovely produce at the North Hills Farermer's Market. Mom went over today to meet them. She told me they were a very nice and hospitable young couple. She enjoyed talking to Haruka about her edible flowers...which sound very delicious.

The weather was gorgeous today so the market was busy. Below is a view of their produce stand. Mom had to snap this picture in between customers.

There was live music playing on the green...some of the uninhibited children were jamming

Mom said she really wanted to get in the moon walk below @ Logan's Trading Company but the door was to short.
Duh Mom it was for kids not Moms

While out and about she saw this beautiful pink and white balloon arch

which marked the start of a 3 mile run/walk for the CURE for Breast Cancer

Mom said she stopped at this intersection as the Race for the CURE participants crossed the finish line. NOTICE the beautiful Golden Retriever walking for the CURE too.

Mom estimated she waited at this light for nearly 10 minutes as folks just kept coming by...she only saw one puppy

So that is how Mom spent her Saturday away from home...I'm not really mad because I took a very long nap. Madi
