  2. I can't imagine Jack sitting on the table while I'm eating. I have enough trouble with him on the floor!

  3. That's tough work, Madi.
Hoomans have the tendacy to slip food off the table, and onto the floor, and it's our job to clean it up!
But please don't make all hoomans mind their table manners too much, we won't get the crumbs!

  4. Hi Madi & Mom,

Madi, that is a very important job you have. Sometimes humans forget their manners and need to be reminded.

I'm afraid if Cindi Lou got on the table at dinner time she would either be helping herself to the food or be sitting in the middle of the plate. Maybe she needs to take some lessons from the head diva.

We love your new header photo!

  5. By far you are the best table decoration ever, dear Madi!!
Our little Edward is back at the vets... He spent a night at the vets last week and is back again this week. Even though he gave us all so much joy on Christmas day and New Year's Day, he wasn't feeling so well (and we all honestly couldn't wait to Monday morning to get him some professional help!). He is terribly constipated, poor little chap... Hopefully, we will have favorable news tomorrow morning. He's such a little gem of a fellow!
Thanks so much for asking about him and for your prayers... he needs every one!!
    Blessings for a wonderful Year!

  6. PS If you could ask all your buddies to pray for Edward, dear Madi's Mom, we would sure appreciate it! I'm afraid I'm having quite a hard time blogging right now... between Edward being sick, and my son having been sick for all of December, and the holidays, and work the most I can do is post every now and then... hopefully this will change this week and I'll be able to get back to blogging!
    Thank you!
    Ann

  9. LOL...so, mom allows you on the table too then, huh? Here at Hootin's house, the cats rule! And the dining room table at times is their throne.

I think you are really gonna be busy with the manners job. These humans seem to think that they can do whatever and get away with it~~NOT anymore BOL Good job MAdi!! Love the header pic.

  14. Whew! Good thing she has you around to reminds her about eat-a-kit. (Do you think they named it that cuz kittehs are really good at manners?) I mean, what if she gets a call to come have dinner the Queen or the Kennedys or something? I don't think the Queen would like it if your mom put her elbows on the table.

  15. Madi, that's a VERY important job! You could have your own book of etiquette...or YouTube video perhaps, in keeping with today's technology! :-)

  16. I'm sure that you do a wonderful job, Madi. We humans need constant reminders of our manners, and I'm sure that your Mom appreciates your help. None of my kitties help like that, though Leon says all the time that he will help me finish all that food!

  17. Madi, you run a tight ship!
Try not to get your fur on Mom's plate.
She doesn't need one of your hair balls! MOL

  19. Madi, you are a tough customer when it comes to manners. Maybe you should visit our house and straighten up the slovenly Humans here.

  20. So glad you are on the job, Madi! Isn't it time to write your manners book? I hear you may have an excellent full-time secretary in April.

  21. You have taken on a very BIG JOB Madi!!! As we age we tend to dribble more!!!!!

  25. Sammy-Joe wants you to know that he likes to sit on the table too when Mama eats... but when Gramma is home she won't allow it! :) Lily wants you to know that she ALSO tries to sit on the table, even though she is a dog!

  26. That is a very important job Madi. In fact it is invaluable as mums don't like to be caught out with a dribble on their chins.

  27. Hi Madi we just started following your blog, I wish my mom or Grandma would let me sit on the table. I would just like to share little tidbits of dinner once in awhile.
